Biography

Colette Rice is a dedicated mental health advocate, author, and minister with decades of experience serving individuals, families, and communities through education and faith-based support. She holds degrees in clinical mental health counseling and sociology. Furthermore, she is an MS licensed teacher and minister.

Colette gained clinical experience through internships while pursuing her graduate degree.

As a mental health advocate for Jackson State University's (STEM) Summer Bridge program and Girls STEM Academy, Colette raised mental health awareness and taught students coping skills. Also, she taught students how to identify problems that warrant professional counseling.

Ultimately, her decades of lived experience adds volume and wisdom to her work.
